This initiative will be supported by state-of-the-art research spaces, modern laboratories, and collaboration with industry, ensuring our students are adept at tackling real-world challenges.

The AIC Masterplan envisions producing quality graduates ready to excel in their careers while achieving lifelong wellbeing. This will be achieved through meaningful engagement in a range of opportunities and career paths facilitated by our cutting-edge facilities. Following the construction of the DET Centre, the AIC will offer hands-on learning spaces, including:

    • two general learning areas, one of which is convertible to a function space
    • a Food Tech Lab with an adjoining Food Prep Room
    • a Wet Agriculture Lab with an adjoining Prep Room
  • Three metal workshops for various small to large-scale projects

These facilities aim to prepare students for both traditional and emerging career paths, allowing them to:

  • Operate industry-approved machinery.
  • Engage in large-scale projects.
  • Learn modern farming and horticulture techniques.
  • Experience garden-to-plate learning.

The AIC’s comprehensive approach ensures that students gain practical skills and knowledge, readying them for successful futures in a rapidly evolving job market.
