TGS Teachers Take Technology to the World

Three Toowoomba Grammar School teachers have has been announced as Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Experts, and will be contributing to the worldwide program. Each year, Microsoft selects innovative educators to share ideas, try new approaches and learn from each other as a global community dedicated to improving student outcomes through technology. There are about 7,600 International educators. TGS teachers, Mr Michael Cocks, Mr Paul Barton and Mr Clinton Owen have all been selected in the program and will play an active role in helping Microsoft deliver digital solutions in the classroom. Mr Cocks is thrilled to be continuing his association with the program for the seventh consecutive year. This will be Mr Barton’s fifth consecutive year and Mr Owen’s second consecutive year involved in the program. They said they not only contribute to the initiative, but they learn a great deal from it.
