TGS Singer Set for National Stage

Year 10 student, Lachlan Hammond has been selected for the prestigious Gondwana National Choral School 2020 ‘Festival of Summer Voices’ in Sydney in January next year. More than 1,000 singers (aged 12-17) from across Australia auditioned for the program in August, with 300 selected. The panel was so impressed with Lachlan’s voice that he was also invited to join the Sydney Children’s Choir to perform at their annual ‘Voices of Angels’ concert in December. This is the third year that Lachlan has been selected for the Gondwana National Choral School and along with performing for them in Australia, he has also previously been selected for their international tour to Europe.
