Years 5, 6 and 7 Boarders - Corfe House

Our younger boarders live in Corfe House. For parents, your first point of call will normally be through the Corfe Boarding Head of House. While your son will receive pastoral care from the Corfe Boarding Head of House, your son's day-to-day pastoral care while at School will be through his Mentor and classroom teacher.

House Allocation and Interview

Your son will be allocated to one of our five Houses and he will remain in that House for the duration of his schooling at Toowoomba Grammar School. The House system provides for the key pastoral care and support, House service and House sport and activity programs.

Once boys move out of Corfe House, from Year 8 they will join their allocated House boarding house (for example, boys in Boyce House will move out of Corfe House at the end of Year 7 and into Boyce Boarding House from the start of Year 8, where they will remain for the remainder of their time at TGS).

You will have received your son's House allocation in an email from the School.

Boarding families will be contacted by their Boarding Head of House prior to the beginning of school to arrange a meeting.

The Parent Lounge

You will have been sent your Parent Lounge login ID via email from the School and you will have received the password via an SMS from the School.

The Parent Lounge is a secure site that provides centralised information and forms including academic results, academic reports and comments.
