We welcome Tony Hurle the founder and driving force behind Tony’s Community Kitchen in Toowoomba.
Tony has become a well-known figure in the region for his unwavering commitment to supporting those experiencing homelessness, hardship and social isolation. What began as a personal initiative—serving pies and barbecue meals in local parks—has grown into a fully-fledged charity that operates 365 days a year, offering hot meals, showers, laundry services, groceries and connection for those in need.
From humble beginnings in Wilsonton to leading one of the region’s most impactful grassroots charities, Tony’s story is one of empathy, resilience and action.
