Art A number of visual arts skills will be demonstrated including ceramics and pottery, drawing and painting. In this program activities will include a drawing workshop, watercolour landscape painting, abstract painting with acrylic, stencils, clay-tile printing and pottery. Workshops will take place in dedicated spaces including the art studio, clay studio and the School’s art gallery. The workshop will result in enjoyable skilled-based experiences for children and parents are welcome to visit the Art building to view their children’s work at the end of the camp. Clay work will be dried and fired (approximately 1-2 weeks) and parents will be able to return to collect pieces at an arranged time.
Drama Throughout the day-long drama program, participants will be given the opportunity to explore a variety of differing styles of drama and digital media which include physical theatre, comedy, acting for stage and screen, in addition to film production and editing. Commencing in a fun-filled improvised style, students will be engaged in creating student devised performances as well as presenting polished work using a convergence of differing theatre texts and styles blended with virtuosic or everyday performance skills the students bring into the acting space.

No previous experience is necessary to participate in the drama program.

Design & Technology The Design and Technology program will investigate and experiment with flowing air.  Laser cutting technology will be utilised to assist in producing a small balloon powered car and the basic concepts of friction and thrust will be explored.  Participants will work both individually and in small groups to develop com.
Coding This workshop will inspire children to be creative coders. They will be coding a pocket-sized computer to create a video game, a pedometer and a flick football scoreboard. Children will discover the endless possibilities of coding and develop foundational programming skills.
Robotics This workshop will immerse children in the process of building robots that they will later program to operate and solve real world problems. Each child will have access to their own individual robot with human-like sensors that react to the surrounding environment. At the end of the activity, children will team up to build a remote control robot to compete in a battle royal.
Indoor Sport The Indoor Sport program will provide a number of engaging activities designed to maximise participant enjoyment and develop functional movements. Children will have the opportunity to participate in futsal, modified games, aquatic activities and other competitive experiences. Participants will experience team- based scenarios and develop key leadership skills through social interactions and physical experiences.
