Father Son Bonding over Billy Carts3rd September 2021
Toowoomba Grammar School Junior School celebrated Father’s Day a little early, with some special father-son bonding on Friday, 3 September.
The boys put aside the iPhones and Nintendos in favour of billy carts, experiencing how their Dads enjoyed their childhood.
It wasn’t as simple as jumping in a cart and off they go; the fathers and their sons constructed their cart from scratch at School in the morning, before culminating in the ‘TGS 500’.
Billy Cart Day is a Toowoomba Grammar tradition, dating back to 2005 and is a very special chance for fathers and sons to come together and enjoy some quality time and outdoor fun.
