TGS has Strong Run at State Championships

Toowoomba Grammar School has a record contingent of 25 athletes representing the Darling Downs at the State Track and Field Championships in Cairns next week.

TGS athletes make up more than half the DD team in the male events with representation in every event.

Two DD records were smashed at the regional carnival during the selection trials, with 16 year-old Nick Coonan winning the 800m in a time of 1:59.9 and 14 year-old Wihan Kruger throwing 51.03m in the Javelin.
