Father’s Day Revs Up at TGS2nd September 2019
Toowoomba Grammar School Junior School celebrated Father’s Day a little early, with some special father-son bonding on Friday, 30 August.
The iPhones and Nintendos were put aside in favour of billy carts, to show the younger generation how their Dads enjoyed their childhood.
This isn’t as simple as jumping in a cart and off they go; the fathers and their sons had to construct their cart from scratch at School, before culminating in the ‘TGS 500’.
Billy Cart Day is a Toowoomba Grammar tradition, dating back to 2005 and is a very special chance for fathers and sons to come together and enjoy some quality time and outdoor fun.
