Gold! Gold! Gold! At the Australian Swimming Championships

Toowoomba Grammar School Year 10 student, Henry Reardon swam away with three gold medals at the Australian Age Swimming Championships in Adelaide from 15-22 April.

Henry won gold in the 15 years 50m and 100m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke and silver in the 100m Backstroke and the 200m Individual Medley.

Year 10 student William Salmond won silver in the 14 years 100m Butterfly and Isabelle Mason also collected silver in the 17/18 years 200m Butterfly.

Toowoomba Grammar School Swimming Club had eleven members competing at the Championships including Henry Reardon, William Salmond, Isabelle Mason, Charlie Schoorl, George Tighe, Naia Anderson, Gemma Treloar, Madylynn Robert, Keeleigh Cauley-Gleeson, Mitchell Crook, Sienna Deurloo, Matthew Smith, Romey Weimers, Patrick Ruane and Dylan Stevens.

There’s no rest for the team with training continuing for trials for World Championships in Brisbane in June and the Australian Schools Championships which will be held in Melbourne in July.
