Budding Film Maker Shares his Skills26th April 2019
Toowoomba Grammar School students who hope to become the next Steven Spielberg will put their skills to the test this weekend.
TGS Old Boy, Clancy Sinnamon, (2009-2013), will be returning to the School to run a film making workshop for interested senior students from Friday 26 to Sunday, 28 April.
Clancy completed a degree in Film and Television through Bond University and is currently employed with the Cricket Network filming the Australian Cricket Team in their matches around the globe.
In his spare time Clancy works on developing his portfolio as an emerging film maker, specifically exploring stories which highlight our rural landscape and the triumphs, tragedies and humour of people on the land.
Over the duration of the film making workshop participants will plan, direct, film, edit and post produce a short film which they can keep for their enjoyment or use to start a film portfolio.
Pre-production and workshopping commences on Friday with filming Saturday and post production and viewing scheduled for Sunday.
Despite the long days and weekend commitment, the response has been overwhelming with all ten spots offered for the course quickly filled.
