2018 TGS Army Cadet Unit March Out Parade2nd November 2018
Toowoomba Grammar School Army Cadet Unit held their annual March Out Parade on Thursday, 1 November 2018, to celebrate the completion of the Cadets’ training program for the past nine months.
This was the 126th anniversary of the event and followed the military format for a March Out Parade with ancient and historical originals.
Toowoomba Grammar School Old Boys’ Memorial Oval came alive with military tradition and spectacular formations, including a Drum Corps Display and the TGS Honour Guard Drill Display in their WW1 uniform.
The TGS Army Cadet Unit Foster Unit, the Oakey Army Aviation Training Centre, flew-in an ARH Tiger Attack Helicopter for the event.
Lieutenant Colonel, Andrew Middleton who is the commanding Officer for the Army Helicopter School was the Reviewing Officer who inspected the parade and presented awards for the achievements of outstanding Cadets.
