Six Toowoomba Grammar School Athletes Head to Nationals14th March 2019
The National Track and Field Championships are just a jump, run or throw away for six Toowoomba Grammar School Athletes.
The students were selected as part of the Queensland team following their top performances at the Queensland Track and Field Championships in Brisbane over the weekend of March 9 and 10.
TGS had nine athletes competing at the State titles so it is an incredible achievement for more than half of our team to represent Queensland at the National Championships in Sydney from April 1.
The successful athletes, their event and placing in Queensland include:
Josh Roach – 400m 1st
Wihan Kruger – Javelin 1st and Discus 2nd
Ewald Kruger – Hammer Throw 1st, Show Put 2nd and Discus 2nd
Jai Gordon – 100m 2nd and 200m 2nd
Lachlan Dolzan – Hammer Throw 3rd
