Australian Legend Stars at TGS Cricket Development Camp29th January 2019
The Toowoomba Grammar School’s Cricket Development Clinic has attracted the support of former Australian cricketer, Andy Bichel.
Bichel played 19 Test matches and 67 One Day Internationals for Australia between 1997 and 2004. He was a right-arm medium-fast bowler and a hard-hitting lower-order batsman.
Bichel has been sharing his skills with the Toowoomba Grammar School ‘A Team’ players at the two-day clinic, focussing on fast bowling techniques.
His experience has proved invaluable for the enthusiastic young players who are preparing for the GPS season.
Bichel was joined by veteran coach, Brad Murphy and former Queensland Bulls wicket-keeper, John Bell, both of whom are highly regarded in the Australian cricket fraternity.
To be able to call on such experience is a credit to the TGS Cricket Program, which is considered one of the best in the country.
